A confusing poem which has many meanings
Is he sure of what he came here for?
She wanted everything - and more,
But blood runs thick inside these veins
And does she know he feels the same
No, she runs and hides
inside these games, her mind rewinds
To find something that she lost,
So long ago with all the cost;
Before everything was fixed and found,
She wanted more than what goes round
Some way to feel like she - herself,
Inside her skin was someone else;
Someone he’s not afraid to touch,
To say the words, he longs so much,
For something so brand new and strange;
But no he hasn’t got the range
To start again and find new life,
Beyond the ever trying strife,
That stifles her and locks her games
And what she knows - she’s so ashamed
To run and breathe so easily;
To lie and sleep so peacefully;
To live and die so creepily;
But no she is confined
To the space within his mind,
And there she lies for sure
Until he thinks no more.
