What would happen should a bad-guy want personal revenge on Scooby Doo and the Gang?

The story starts with 'Captain Black Beard' escaping from prison to hunt down Scooby and the Gang.
The characters include Captain Black Beard - aka Wilfred Manning (couldn't think of his real name, I'm not completely sad!)

Shaggy
The creepy Butler
and Undercover copper Barry Ponystein.

The story takes place in the 'old abandoned mine' (where else?!). But Scooby and the gang are hiding a secret!
