I don't usually do rhymes...so bear with me.
What I wanted
What I thought
Spun together,
A tangled knot.

My stomach sinks
My dreams now dying
Torn apart,
I feel like crying.

That intense work
That millionth mile
Salt spatters on
the shower tile.

Love and laughter
The one true ointment
I hope to cure
My disappointment.
