short poem
my body is a birdcage;
a parakeet my heart.
I'm bird and air
and metal bars
which force bird and world apart.

sometimes I look for hinges,
some door which I can't name
I want to let the bird out,
but I search always in vain.

my body is a birdcage;
a parakeet my heart
I want to fly
away from me
I just don't know where to start.

sometimes I look for hinges,
some door which I can't name
I want to let the bird out,
but I search always in vain.
