poem written while enjoying a summer night after a rainstorm
sitting in darkness,
watching fireflies
fly through air.
dozen earth-bound falling stars
waiting to be wished on.
everything so surreal,
image froze in time,
reach out a hand,
manipulate the scenary,
artist creating masterpeice
on barren brown canvas.
no artificial sounds,
in stillness of air,
only sounds of wind,
lonely frogs singing
sonnets of love.
smell dew of morning
fast approaching.
smell scent of rain
falling from heaven
