"Cutting" is not only a Mental disorder, it is also a Disease, misunderstood by many.
She reaches for the piece of glass,
kept hidden, so they won't know;
That she releases the pain within,
by watching her Crimson Blood flow.

She places the glass against her skin,
as she begins to cry;
She presses down as hard as she can,
though she truly doesn't know why.

The word's from her past replay again,
for she can never quiet the voice;
Which tells her that she's unlovable,
and pathetic, by her own choice.

"You can't do anything right,
you're a failure, ugly and dumb";
So she presses through her Arteries,
until her finger's turn numb.

As she stares at her bloody wrist,
she feels purged and satisfied;
For cutting herself is the only thing,
that she has ever done right.
