again my bad stuff this time about 2 soldiers who are well yea
Let God take my soul
As he rips it from this hole

Hot lead fills my mind
These last images ain’t that kind

I love the times we shared
We were always great when paired

We got on that ship together
Thought this friendship would last forever

Our guns have no emotion
The bullets tear through them, dying in slow motion

As death filled the air
We act like we never had a care

As we travel up Iwo Jima Hill
We look at each other & make us a deal

There’s not much to our little pack
We just got to have each others back

But in this war were are the sheep
And to the Lord our souls to keep

Wonder if there’s a place called hell
Or is it just another fairy tale

At this moment we are living it
People stuffed in a world full of shit

I lift my head to the sky
Just then I heard you cry

I turn around
Dead bodies lay on the ground

Hundreds of men crying & screaming
They want to wake up & stop dreaming

I see your face covered in blood
Rain starts to pour, I think it’s going to flood

I wipe your face of all this mud
I’m just sorry I can’t remove all this blood

Rubbing my hand on my head
Man I should be dead

As the blood drips down my neck
I think to my self ‘what the heck’

Leaning over to try & kiss you
Only now I truly miss you

Looking up to the sky
Thinking to myself ‘this world is a lie’
