Just a rant.
Okay so, teenage lurrrve. I don't understand it. You 'love' someone and then go and date about a trillion other guys/girls and then on your in-betweens(rebound times I'd call them) you run back to your 'love' claiming that you love them soooo much and that you're still not over them and all that stuff.
You see, what I don't understand is how can they believe you when you only acknowledge them during your rebound time?
Maybe it's because you both had been doing other things and a chance meeting (perhaps you needed a ride somewhere or you went to a party and they happened to be there) brought you back together again. Fate? Maybe. Or you could be stalking them.... Let's hope not.
Maybe you need comfort in them after someone else has broken your heart. But if you're not together with your 'love', then they must've broken your heart or maybe you found something odd with them and no longer wished to be with them. Then why do you have such strong feelings for them?
At this point in our lives do we even know what love is? Yeah, if we go by the dictionary, it's a strong feeling for someone physically and emotionally, but since when do we go by the dictionary? I'm not going to say there's a time specification, but can you really say you're in love until you've been through the thick and thin with that person? Can you really say you're in love before you've accepted and embraced - maybe even mimiced a few of - their personality quirks instead of ignoring them or being embarassed by them? Can you really say you're in love before you see what's really out there and you realize you don't want their type of person, you just want them.
I just want some people to read this and realize either that what their doing is exactly what they want to be doing, or they need to finally see that this is really just a charade to get what they want. Maybe you think I don't know what I'm talking about; that's fine with me. I'm not even sure if I know what I'm talking about. But, whatever take my words, use them however you want, that's what I put them up here for.
