This is a poem about everyday romances

I’m sitting across the restaurant, and I see your face.
Our eyes meet.
You wink at me, and I turn my blushing face.
I run thoughts across my mind to think
of a reason to stand up and go
over to your table.
Ah…your faster, my sweet.
You reach for a napkin on my table…as do I.
Our hands meet.
Your sweet, deep voice persuades me.
Our lips meet.
Love fights its way in.
Our souls meet.
