Daydreaming

Mystifying, majestic, obedient sun
With a ray so far and bright and stunned,
Shunned is the hobo from across the way
No going back no place to stay,
A world gone wrong not right they say
No going back no how no way,
To impress is not easy
When being led astray.

Far flung fleetingness of the things people say
The mists rolling in, everything far far away,
Changing, re-naming, shaming and affrey
Startling the hurling of the curds and whey
Much to pay and nothing to say,
No task completed, no point anyway.

Running through the same old places
Traces like braces,
A track makes out faces
The faces in the night
What a repugnant sight of delight and fright,
No insight gained
More alone than alive.
