Just about life, how your never really down or up as much as you think you are.
I spread my arms and fall away.
Into the bleakness of the day.
I spread my wings and fly away.
Into a sky that would not sway.
I cringe my eyes before the fall.
Breakable as a porcelain doll.
My feathers split and catch the wind.
To fly and fall is not the end.
