I was reading about Martin Luther King, Jr., and was told to right a poem. Enjoy
Our eyes are different colors
Both yours and both mine
Your skin may be darker
So we're like day and like night

On the outside we're different
But on the inside the same
Don't judge a book by its cover
It would be a crying shame

Your heart beats like a drum
Guess what mine does too
Know what, we both breathe to survive
Who would of knew?

So what if we're different
But we are also alike
We should all get along
And try not to fight

In life things may happen
It's all up to choice
Reach out with your wisdom
And speak out with your voice
