This is about how we take each other forgranted all too often... (Written at age 14).
Aug. 19, 2002

The life in our hands is the life we behold.

Father, son, wife, daughter, the prevailing truth be told.

How we cherish each other should be no question.

The love bonds everyone together in one grand concession.

The glue chips away when something goes wrong.

The love once there is now not so strong.

The life in our hands if the life we behold,

The wisdom we share shall never grow old.

We help each other through every bump in the street;

Something happens...we're thrown to our feet.

The bumps in the road turn to great stones;

Cutting our feet, shattering and breaking our bones.

The life in our hands is the life we behold;

Friends are precious in their heart, mind, and soul.

They stand by your side with attachments at heart;

You stumble and it all falls apart.

Untrue and unfair they walk in front of you.

Gone is the friendship once so sturdy and true.

The life in our hands is the life we behold;

Ill go on without stopping despite what im told.

I shall walk alone or with help by my side,

I will never quit, won't stop this life long stride.
