about regret.
There are so many things I wish I could take back,
So many things I wish I could unsay,
And actions I wish I could go back and change.
But the clock is unforgiving in its age,
It continues on,
Tracking the seconds,
Minutes,
Hours,
Corresponding to each day.
Tick-tocking forward,
Leaving me alone,
Dwelling,
In the silence,
Breathing on my neck,
Screaming wasted life in my ears.
