Life can be quite hard.
Why is it when life is best you're at your worst?
What happens when your last is your first?
You have every grain of wealth, yet you still starve
When you have the sharpest knife and it still can't carve
Is that a respectable life or a horrible death?
A corpse has lungs but has no breath
Can a heart beat lively in a cage so sepulchral?
As if a summer sun is ever deemed dull
Tell me why I rot in such fertile grounds
I know now true souls have no bounds
