This is a light-hearted sentimental dinner conversation.
The Bean Song

I amble when I'm able,
But I scramble to the table
If there's a big pot of beans.

When they're made with lots of bacon,
My taste buds all awaken
Just to get a bowl of beans.

And I'll have a roll with butter,
Just don't expect me to mutter
When my mouth is full of beans.

With brown sugar or some hot sauce,
I don't need a salad to toss
As long as there are plenty of beans.

We can start a conversation.
Tell me about your vacation
Over a second bowl of beans.

While you enjoy the memories.
I would like to ask you please
For another helping of beans.

I will stay right by your side,
When finally I am satisfied
With my belly full of beans.
