seasons change and so do feelings.

Never intending for more than casual breeze shooting times
Now, finding ourselves deeply tucked in the place where
We are safely open to each other
Thoughts overlap
All senses are opened and aroused
I stop wanting morning to arrive
You never desiring to leave my space
Wanting to stay in peace
Knowing that
This is that one thing
Where verbal and physical intercourse exist some place
The mind can’t fully wrap around
It just is
Felt it in my soul
Felt it in your heartbeat
Felt it in my thighs
Felt it in your words
Felt it in that first kiss
Enveloping us
Closer than I ever imagined I could get
Deeper than I could envision it would go
This December the snow felt warm
In heat from your kisses and your hands
The warmth of your energy
Day after night after day
A heightened passion stirred up from the simplest gestures
Hours of conversations about every thing between heaven and Africa
Quiet times to just feel each other
When unspoken needs fulfilled
It was in December
I realized that
I can’t go back to the detached existence I found security in
I excavated my self I needed to be
Waiting all this time for you to get me open the way I needed to
Staccato at first
But now gliding so easily
Into feeling comfortable in accepting
This December
Things have changed
And I am now safe in love.
