A soldier's return from war
It seems like only yesterday that I had gone away to fight the ravages of a foreign land gone astray. How I have missed you since that day.

War is hell; I guess I have always known, but never had I thought I might lose you this way. I promised I would return to you, but these words I wish I could say:

I miss you and I love you. Please do not grieve for me, but pray that our children never die this way...
