This is a short poem about the war
There is silence all around us
No sirens in the air
We can move about our lives
Without a single care

The bombing has began
The body count is few
Why do we only count whats ours?
For they are people too

We sit and watch it all unfold
We cry for those who die
This is why they call it war
Why are you so surprised?

We listen to the radio
We watch it on the news
We hope someday to live in peace
And neither side will lose
