Italian Sonnet- a dilemma a fallen angel faces.
Oh, what to give to return to the key
of my soul, the creator of my time!
It was he who allowed all light to shine
yet playing fool I turn'd back to be free
of warm warmth- my psalmic purpose. As he
makes me of flesh and feather, I allign
against him to those who seek a false, "fine"
world sans him- a world that could never be.

"Rest." says he to the panging of my soul.
"Rest knowing you are what you are and more.
Despite back turn'd to darkness, dark had I
planned for you to be. Empty and yet whole
are you say I, master of might and lore."
"Rest with this: In your darkness my light lie."
