A poem I created for my Godmother, who's been more like a mother through the years
You're like a second Mother
In the feelings you inspire
I look up to you, I love you
Your outlook, I admire
With every year that passes
God Mother, it is known
Our love is great as is
And greater it is shown
You held me as a baby
Stood by me as I've grown
I hope that someday maybe
I will pass that to my own
Because of you I smile
I love you Aunty Wendy
Love, Your Godchild
