About a young child being subjected to mindless bullying.

I walked past the crowd,
I had done nothing wrong.
They seemed oh so proud,
They’d waited oh so long.

I looked the other direction,
I didn’t want us to meet eyes.
They got a misconception,
They saw arrogance in disguise.

I began to pick up my pace,
I dared not to look back.
They began their chase,
They launched an attack!

I ran straight for the door,
I didn’t make it in time.
They cruelly demanded more,
They knew I wouldn’t give a dime.

I fought, kicking and screaming,
I did not want to give in.
They stood there scheming,
They swiftly threw me into the bin.

I let out a cry of desperation,
I wanted the nightmare to be over.
They stepped back to look at their creation,
They were amazed they did it while sober.
