A WWII bomber pilot's plight
Crank all engines with a spin.  Tonight, intentions simply to win.  Darkness which knows mercy not, will aid us in a cause to expunge the lot.  Spirits will be lifted by a mighty roar.  Gliding in the night, concealing rich nor poor.  Our presence will be known by the sound of death.  Although the fight righteous, tonight human essence will be theft.  What's done is done, it doesn't matter much.  The beast has aggravated us to the bone.  Tonight, the men of The Mighty Eighth have turned to stone.
