Time passes, so enjoy the present.
A steady flow
Goes by,
Unnoticed, overlooked.
The passersby wear
Their dark glasses in the night.
Or view their path through long scopes
Of far sight.
Some travel backwards,
Fascinated with all they pass,
or all that passes them,
but still move along with the currant.
I too travel, and I’ll let you join,
If you promise to remove your shades,
Promise to put your telescope away.
You may face the east, with me,
and enjoy the sunrise.
