me being in a pickle. i say to you. you ought to know. by myself and all. but never alone. He is always watching. me. i danced aroung the table to where you sat. with a little smile. you nodded. a sad tired used up looking woman with her hair down in her face brings an i dunno steak. you looked at this glistening grilled filet and sat your fork down on the table. i saw you raise your eyes in my direction. curiously and tempting. you slipped your tongue between your lips bitting slightly- as if to indicate your appetite had not been satisfied. you make parts of me tingle and grow. then you lifted your head and smiled with bright white teeth and a tiny white collar fastened tight at your neck. dressed in black. you tipped the waitress without eating a thing and walked away with your bible held in a peculiar place for a man of God. nice wedding ring.
