Thinking about the war, and how people die everyday over there for our country.
Feeling the wind blow on my face as I am walking down a long narrow road of endless tears and pain. The smell of burning flesh fills my nose. I hear a bomb go off in the distance, not a big surprise. "I have no reason to be here", I think to myself. There is no way we are going to help anybody here anyways. I find myself picking up another body in pieces. God when is this going to end? A lady sits on the ground with her child, they are both covered in sand due to the bombs going off near by. I keep walking trying to see if I can find someone still alive. When all of a sudden I go deaf. I cannot hear nor see anything. I feel something warm all over my body. Im hearing people scream, "We found her she is alive". I feel my legs and arms become numb. I think I am dying. "Please someone tell my Parents and husband I love them", I scream but I hear nothing back. The pain is getting worse in my chest, as I feel someone pushing hard on it. I feel myself slipping into darkness when..
all of a sudden I feel better.
Was I dreaming, or am I dead?
