My first "love happy" poem.
One Look

To be lost in your eyes is a funny feeling,/
You see, never have I allowed someone to look so deep, so soon./
Never have I let someone see my soul, see in me with only one look./
And when you look deep within me, I cannot help but begin to see you,/
Oh, how I can daze into your weathered eyes for hours./
It’s a funny feeling I have never allowed myself to feel./

To be stuck somewhere in-between your heart and your head, is a place I desire to leave./
Your heart is trying to let you feel, feel a feeling you thought you left behind years ago with all the pain,/
And heartache. Your head is trying to stop your heart from further agony by pushing me away./
Unlock your heart, like you have your mind-begin to feel something you’ve blocked off for way too long./
I want the best of both worlds-knowing I can look into your weathered eyes and be in your heart,/
Knowing I have been in your head first, lavishing myself in all your deep thoughts./

To feel the touch of your strong, yet gentle warm hands on my face-is a touch that I dream about./
Silence, as you pull me in, heartbeats sending shrills down my spine, as you hold my body close to yours./
The softness, and slightly wetness of your lips as they brush across mine made me have to catch my breath./
The look in your eyes, the smell of you, the roughness of your exterior, yet the softness of your soul-/
Is what I remember before you brushed your hand across my face, and kissed me oh so tenderly and slow./
As our lips met, it’s almost as if I could feel your heart just like your tough, silky smooth hand that brushed my across my face,/
And then the long heavy breath as our faces still touching, sliding his hand into mine and taking me away./

Intimacy with only one look, one simple touch, one everlasting kiss, two great minds, and two beautiful hearts./
Let loose you once said, all my guards are finally down; I am allowing myself to share intimate moments with a man,/
A man I could have a future with. One who looks into my soul, sending chills down my spine, when I hate people even looking at me./
So let down your guards. I know you feel what I feel; I know you’re comfortable with where you have been for four years now-/
But do not let this chemistry both physically and mentally dissipate. You see the possibilities; you feel the intimacy, now just open your heart./
To think this funny feeling all started with your gazing into my eyes, your won over my mind, my body, and my heart./
And I know I touched yours./
