Honesty

It takes a man of bravery and undaunted courage to own up to misdeeds that others would never dream of owing up to. This is because honesty in itself is a rare quality that is very much sought for in this increasingly volatile world of ours.
A man with such honesty and integrity is appreciated and definitely accepted in most societies.

The rare attribute which many philosophers believe holds the key to a sense of purpose and self esteem is widely defined. I personally have gleaned through several pieces of literature on this matter, analysing the opinions of the worlds greatest, I have come to a quite chracteristic definition which combines the spice of historical thinking with our yet modern mind set. Therefore my opinion, not being widely spread anticipated or known for notoriosity states;

honesty is the jewel in which a man's heart resides and prompts a person to be aware of the morally right and to orally make the second party aware of an act be it morally right or wrong!

Such a definition, as a result of the tradition of modesty, I agree is poor in meaning and spice as compared to the ranged suggestions of many. However, it outlines three different requirments or properties of honesty; the ability to prompt, to make aware, and to voice or admit orally! This alone makes my definition suitable in the analyses.
