I wrote this poem for a friend who's a volunteer firefighter.
For Firefighters

As you run in, I run out.
Then my thoughts run about.
I watch you run out then back in.
And wonder if we'll meet again.

You saved my life from a burning fire,
And my lasy great desire
Is to thank you for everything,
For lifting me up on your angel wings.

Its you that I adore,
Because you saved my life and more
You risked yours to save mine,
Do you think it was just a moment in time?

You risk your life everyday.
And I feel it's time to say
Thank you, from my heart and soul.
And keep your engine wheels on a roll.

I thank God for you.
So keep doing what He wants you to do.
Save lives and cease more fires
Live out your dreams-help others live out their desires.
