A poetic myth of how the sun died.

Blindman caught the sun
Kept her all chained up inside
Left the world in darkness
Without her brilliant light

Blindman caught the sun
Demanded to know why
Her rays reached out to all the world
But would not touch his eyes

Blindman caught the sun
But a word she would not say
Though he lashed at her with whips and words
Every darkened day

Finally the sun
In her last and struggled breath
Let a chuckle leave her lips
And to the Blindman said,

“You yell and scream in agony,
About your lonely plight,
Because you are blind by darkness
And I am blind by light.”

Blindman caught the sun
And then he let her die
Kneeling down in joyous pain
He gave up and he cried
