Lena gets very aggravated with Lola, because of what the annoying twit does....
*starts in Lena's perspective.

I was finally back to school. Three days is a long time out. Lola and Rhysen were so relieved that I was alright.
“Oh, Lena, I’m so sorry! If I had of walked home with you, none of this would’ve happened!” Lola whispered, distraught.
I smiled. “Lola, it wasn’t anyone’s fault. My sugar was just too high.”
“Thank God Blaze found you when he did.” Rhysen sighed.
I nodded. “Yeah. Mum and Dad were pretty grateful to him. Said that they don’t know what they’d do if something happened to me. It was so embarrassing.”
Lola laughed. “Here she almost dies, and all she worried about is that Mummy and Daddy embarrassed her in front of Blaze!”
I blushed. “Not true!” I protested.
Lola rolled her eyes.
“Lena, you’re hooked on the guy.”
“Am not!” I argued.
Rhysen laughed at us.
“Come on, come on, we’re gonna be late for algebra!” He urged.
Lola and I both thumped him, one of us per arm, and, giggling, followed him to our classroom.

Lunch rolled around really, really quickly. Lola, Rhysen and I sat at our regular table. Lola and I picked up where we had left off earlier.
“Lena, you are so into him.”
“Nu-uh!”
“Are so!”
“Am not!”
“Are so!”
“Am not!”
“Are SO!”
“Am NOT!”
“Guys, I can settle this. Skyler, you totally are!” Rhysen chuckled.
I glared at them both. They grinned back at me . . . or at least I thought they were grinning at me.
All of a sudden, two hands went around my eyes, startling me.
“Guess who?” A soft, musical voice said into my ear.
“Um . . . is it the tooth fairy?” I asked, teasing, recognizing the voice right away.
“Nope, try again.”
“Hmm . . . the Easter bunny?”
“Nope. One more guess.”
“Well, if it isn’t the tooth fairy, and its not the Easter bunny,... then I would have to say... that its...Blaze.” I giggled.
“Correct!” He laughed, sitting down beside me.
“So how are you feeling today, Lena?” He asked.
“Much better. Tip top even.”
He nodded at me, and shot me one of his killer smiles.
“Glad to hear it.”
Lola kicked me under the table, smug thing she is.
I smiled back.
Rhysen and Blaze got deep into a conversation about basketball.
“Lena, you going to the mall this weekend?” Lola asked me.
“Yeah. Why wouldn’t I be? We always go on the weekend. Besides, I need to pick up some stuff. Why do you ask?”
“Just curious. Rhysen, you still on for our mall trip, too?” She interrupted
He just nodded.
“Hey, I just got a great idea!” Lola exclaimed, and I caught her knowing smile. I knew exactly what she was going to say. I kicked her under the table, but do you think that stopped her?
“Why doesn’t Blaze come to the mall with us? That’s if you want to, Blaze.”
He shrugged. “Sure, why not? I’ve got nothing better to do this weekend.”
Lola smiled. “Great! The more people there are, the more fun it’ll be!” she exclaimed.
Rhysen nodded. “I agree.”
“What about you, Lena? Do you mind?” Blaze asked.
“Nope! Sounds great!” I smiled.

This was great. A perfect opportunity. This just saved me having to try and find an excuse to get to hang out with Lena. Also, it saved me the stress of having to try and work up the courage to ask her out.
I absolutely couldn’t wait till Saturday...
