An excerpt of my journal after being betrayed by a friend.
                                                    Betrayed

The sting of betrayal, the burn of deceit. The battle of evil to most unseen.

You try to bring m down, knock my feet from under me. You think you can break me, bring me down to your level, but rest assured my friend I will not lower my standards because of your lack of character. You may feel as though you are on top right now but that will quickly be only a memory in your tortured thoughts. We will see in the end the outcome of using people as if they are at your disposal. You can only fake people out for a short time before they see through the insecurity and the lack of genuine character. It saddens me to say I see pain and loneliness in your future if you fail to change your ways. I want you to know how sad I think it is to know we have been relinquished to this competitive existence, a constant competition in which I refuse to play a part. You can continue on in this way but remember you will be all alone. I will pray for you but I will not feed this sickness of which you are suffering. My future is in God's hands and He will bless me however He sees fit. So know that I am not the least bit intimidated by your vein, self-centered actions. I pity you.
