Ideas on whats to come.....
The shotgun is held up high
against the clear blue sky,
POP! My race begins,
its time to push my hardest.

I strive to go all the way
As I think of my daily training
It was thorough
It was rough
But it taught me to push my hardest

I reach an obstacle
It's harsh, but I pull through
The next is even harder
I yell,
I scream,
"Lord help me to push my hardest!"

I attempt to keep my pace...
I watch as my oppenents pass
I cry out for unseen help
Because I lack to push my hardest.

Parts of my race are amazing
Parts of my race are horrible
Throughout my race I fought
I labored
I dreamed
I hoped
I prayed I'd push my hardest

This race
This battle, is truely my life
The obstacles are my strife
And whenever I long to give up
It seems life reaches it's hardest.

I speed through life and see
All that I can and should do
All that I can and should be
If I would realize a goal won
If I could reach my Ultimate Finish

Now my unseen help
Comes to me
To provide Faith and Strength
He produces a "Life Verse"
Reminds me of 2nd Timothy 4:7 and 8

I run the course again
As my body reaches it's end
I think back to the beginning,
I realize
I always pushed my hardest

My life,
My race, go on strong
And because of the Judge,
Faith I have won
And there He waits for me;
My Lord with my prize;
I advance;
He awaits my Ultimate Finish
With a gleaming crown of righteousness.
