Rage at someone I cared about letting me down yet again, & how I wanted to get even.
Razor sharp edge, penetrates the thickest shell
Pinpoint tip to dig deepest in the tiniest hole
Gouging out the sweetest fruits within
Slicing the thinnest sheets to ensure renewal

Letting blood trickle or gush, the exquisite crimson
Flows out of intentional holes in your mind
Dividing up increments of your heart for me to devour
To satisfy the gaping hole in my sad excuse for pride

Holding the knife carefully, taking precise aim
I begin to torture the tender places of you
To cause the most pain to make me feel better
To slowly lift your most treasured protections

And the skin I flay alive is mine own.
