That which was once "Nameless" thank you {user:countrymom}
This is a poem of my love
in the New Orleans streets.
It moves me.
You are there, I am here.

My heart lives in the New Orleans streets,
searching for you and aching for your touch.
You are there, I am here and missing you;
the nights are too long, I need you so much.

When sadness visits me today I cling to memories
when we walked the New Orleans streets together.
I am closer to heaven with you there, God knows
how much I miss you and love you - forever

This is a poem of my love
in the New Orleans streets.
You were there,
so much better with you here.
