My two roads diverged...
Here, a podium.
Chalk in one hand,
Coffee in the other.
The room, alight with lecture.

There, a stage.
Cigarette in one hand,
Cocktail in the other.
The room, overflowing with lyric.

Two worlds.
One a tedious truth,
One a forbidden fancy.
Both commanding consideration.
