Relief

          Relief
If I hold my breath-
real tight
inhale so deep-that
my brain fills with air
and causes all my thoughts
to just flit through
the pores of my skin
and float into the night sky
higher and higher
flying, flowing, freeing
winging me into
the wind
spinning, spiraling
unraveling
a song of
prayer and
thanks.
