A poem of a torn heart
As my leather wings
Beat against the bars
That restrain me,
I am filled with sorrow.
How I long to be
Freed from this cage
Of fire and ice,
To leave The Nod
Forever.
My throut has been slashed
By the cold steel
That is
Your voice.
A cry in the dark,
And I am detatched;
Empty; alone.
My heart lies
In chains, nailed
To the floor;
It beats feably
As sweet life
Escapes it.
The candle of
My love
Blows out.
