a poem about saying what you believe in
Sitting there still as a stone
I refuse to be another boring clone
A word has not slipped from my lips
I need a sign, a tip

For when it’s ok for me to talk
With out the look of being moked
I don’t understand why I’m being hushed
All my words anymore are just mush

Why don’t you just cut out my tongue
This way you don’t have to hear the words that I have sung
With a red sweet liquid running down my throat
Just tare it out with out hearing my vote

I know that you would be happy then
This way you wouldn’t have to send
A dirty look for me to shut up
If only you had that kind of luck

But before you could leave, I left first
I didn’t pick you I choose her
Where I can speak my mind
Now you’re the one left behind
