this is about my Grandfather
i looked out the stain glass window
and heard all the crs go by
i heard my name
and walked to the coffien(sp?)
i turned arould and said good bye!

today was the day of his death
and he was my poppy oh yes!
and i couldn't believei didn't say bye to him
i felt so bad that i choked on my words

we all lined up to put somethings in his grave
i put in my poem
and i hope it stays with him
forever and ever so i'll never leave him again!

that day was the hardest day of my life
i'd do those days over and over again
just to see him one more time!

i love you more than the sun and the moon
i love you more than a saterday morning cartoon
you are a man of many routines
you could fix almost anything
with tootsie rolls, gumdrops and corn bread
don't ever let it be said
that you weren't a steak and potatoes guy
with a big bowl of lays on the side
you were a business man throuh and through
but you put your family on a pedisital too
you watvhed cop shows, mysteries, and football on sunday
from heaven you can always watch those cowboys play
i'll miss you poppy this much i true
but always remember
i love you
