I couldn't sleep one night and wrote this.
Thoughts race
a thousand miles a minute,
running through my brain.
I think one thing,
then another;

Never Settle.
Never Stop.

Twist a curl around my finger;
Bite my nails.

him,
or him?
now,
or later?

when?

Stressed,
My hair gets bigger, frizzier,
Trying to give my thoughts more room.

questions, choices, decisions...
Is this what it feels like
to grow up?
