How Hope affects us
The Nature of Hope

James Collymore

It be hope that be our downfall.
Assassin, be hope, it be, to we.
It be hope that halts our learning.
It be hoping that the fire be not burning our hands,
That what lost us our fingers, eh?

It be by hoping that this time, it might work,
It be not be by expectations,
That we feel the cold feeling of loss.
It be not be by likeliness,
That we taste that bad taste.
Nay, it be by hope,
That our dreams get crushed…

Be it not true! You says, you hopes,
That we, by hoping,
By following the being of humans,
By wishing,
Dreaming,
That this time might be it,
That we fall down,
Empty.

Yet this, methinks, be it what it be,
Be it hope, that our dreams not be come true.
It be the weakness, the happy sadness, be hope, it be.
But, yet, and, hope be keeping us going.
If not, it be for hope, we be having nothing.
Be it not hope, that us be all start in the first place?

Aye, that be true too.
Hope be a woman like, be it not?
