A description of the terrible storm, and the fear it brings to the character

“Alas!” he cried, “The storm is near, bringing all to fear!”
And so I ran, to hide from the beast, the terrible beast in the sky.
And when she came, she came with fury, burning the air with rain,
Screaming with hate and malice.
She drowned the streets, and shattered the darkness,
Howling and banging, she showed her wickedness,
Wishing all ill to those who she covered.

I hid in my shelter, alone and afraid,
Of the terrible beast outside.
I cowered and trembled from the magnificent storm,
I felt helpless at it’s power.
And so, I closed my eyes, and thought,
Of all before the storm.
Of happiness, calmness, and I slowly slept,
For when I’d awoken, the storm was gone.
