A hazy room filled with smoke

I hesitate to say something and I choke

Your touch is tender and swift

Being meek and intelligent is your gift

Things happened so fast I was naked

Too fast that I wouldn't let you take it

Something so precious and endearing

This intense moment I have been fearing

So I pretend to fall asleep

And for tonite my innocence I will keep
