This is my story that I just started.
Prologue

Alex Remijan was the kind of teenager that you would expect to get beaten up often. His small shape and long blond hair made him an easy target for bullies. Also, he didn't fit in that well. Alex only had a couple of friends at his school, Wilson High School. His full name was Alexander but he preferred Alex because it was quicker to say. He was 17 years old.
Alexander's best friend and sister by adoption was Chrystine Remijan, 16 years old. A tall, thin framed girl with short brown hair with a purple stripe that just covered her ears. They were inseparable like twins, they shared some kind of bond that no one understood, or at least no one at school understood.
Recently at school Alex had been having some trouble with keeping friends. One of his friends Szilvia had denounced any connection to him and stopped talking to him all together. Wouldn't even work with him in the one class they shared. Alex had decided to do the one thing that would hurt the least and just ignore her like she didn't exist. For the first time in a while he had found a girl he liked named Tawnie who semi ignored him and most people seemed to dislike. Or at least he gathered that because they always talked bad about her behind her back.
He also had several classes that he was making up after school to graduate. All in all Alexander's life recently had been pretty chaotic.

Chapter One - Tears

Alex parked his band new black Ford Mustang and got out. Out of the passenger's door came his sister, Chrystine. Before closing the door he reached into the side pocket of the door and pulled out a small case then grabbed his bag. As did Chrystine. He opened the small case and shuck out two pills into his clean palm. He lifted his hand to his mouth and took the pills. The head ache that he had had since leaving their house went away.

“Lets go Chrys.” Alex said.

They huffed their packs onto their shoulders and headed off to school for another drooling day of lectures and studying. Most of the day the two person family didn't see each other except for lunch. The only period they had together was sixth.

Alex walked into the door of his sixth period classroom and found his seat. He slid his bag under his desk and took out his Japanese notebook. This is the class that he had to deal with Szilvia. Chrys walked into the room and took her seat halfway across the classroom.
The class went by pretty smoothly for a while. Then their teacher, Joe Sensei, made a joke. Not a normal joke but one of the ones he had made a lot. Alex looked over at Szilvia because she was right across the way. The desks were ranged in a U-shaped. When he caught her laughing it held everything he had saw in her when they were friends.
Putting his head into his arms tears slowly came to his eyes. He looked up for a second and could have sworn Szilvia saw the tears in his eyes that didn't flow down his face yet. But before he could be sure he put his head back in his arms and wiped his eyes on his sleeve. When he looked back up Szilvia's face looked a little disturbed but he had no idea whether that was really what he saw in it or if it was why it was like that.

After Class Chrystine put her arm around Alex as they walked out of the classroom door. They didn't look like brother and sister but rather best friends. Alex's face cheered up a bit.

“You okay brother?” Chrystine asked.

“Yeah Chrys, thanks. Stuff like this shouldn't effect me by now” Alex responded.

“You know it always will but I will always be here for you.”

“I know and thank you for that.”

With those last words the conversation ended. The two headed back off to Alex's car and went home.

They got to the small five room house they shared. Alexander and Chrystine's adoptive parents had died when Alex was 15 and Chrys was 14. Instead of going into the system and getting foster parents they got emancipated from their dead adoptive parents. The two sold their old house and bought the one they live in now. It was closer to school and cheaper to maintain.
Their house consisted of a living room, a kitchen, two bedrooms and a shared bathroom. The bedroom closets could be called a small room though. It was one floor and located a mile and a half from school. The outside was a off white while the common areas of the house were a light blue. Chrystine's room was dark purple while Alex's was full black.
Alex and Chrystine went inside and did homework. After homework they ate dinner and spent time in their rooms.
Alex went to his room and talked to a few people on his computer. Then went to the bathroom to brush his teeth. After that he went and sat in his bed with his laptop on his lap and wrote in his journal that he kept everyday. On a shelf above his computer desk was a row of books some of them old and dusty with no labeling some newer and shiny. Opposite his desk was another bookshelf but this time all the books were labeled and were common books. In his closet was all sorts of clothes, from Gothic to dress to older clothes. There were also plastic boxes of colectables.
After dinner Chrystine went to her room too. Her room had a bed, a desk with a computer at it and a bookshelf opposite the desk that was half full with books half with collectibles. Her closet was pretty much the same but there were far less boxes and a fair amount more clothes. She went to her computer and talked to friends too. When she was done she went to the bathroom and brushed her teeth but after went straight to bed.
