A heart can be broken only so much Though, mine has been more than a touch.
Why is the man of my dreams another girl's tease?
Will he stop when I beg, please?
All I've done is love you, but that's not enough, I can tell
This hurt is the only thing worse than hell.

Does he worry I'm crying these days?
Is being there for him going to change his ways?
I stood by the door in the cold snow
Don't tell me you love me, I want it to show.

You see on my finger there's no ring
I'm waiting for you to do your thing
I'd like to believe that promise was true
Three months of bullshit and nothing new.

I won't go on with lies, or be played
I won't forget the times you've betrayed
A heart can be broken only so much
Though, mine has been more than a touch.

What does it matter? like you say
You've been suicidal every yesterday
I refuse to already kiss and makeup
You swallow pills & drink faults from a cup.

I had a wish for the future, just us two
My heart is complete, then cut through
If the best thing to you is waking up next to me
Why can't my love keep you happy?
