a thought provoking piece about how the world is so unfair and contradictory
Why are we born, if we'll someday die
Why do we multiply, then commit senseless homicides
Why are we at war, can't anyone get along
Why do we get persecuted, for things that are not wrong
Why do we work forever, but are unable to take our possession's into the forever
Why do we cry, laugh and smile, if only to hide the pain living inside
Why do we love, when in the end no one will ever matter
Why do we fear things we cannot control
Why are we afraid of someday growing older
Why do we go to church every Sunday, then breaks God's laws six days a week
Why do we get in trouble for things cops get awarded for
Isn't the Lord the one greater than a man, or does the world worship a myth
Why do we condemn others, for crimes we ourselves have committed
Why is sexual pleasure so great, if anyone could infect us with AIDS
Why do we not believe the things we see all the time
But believe in things we have never seen alive
Why do we live in poverty, amidst the richest nation of all
Where we are taught to respect all, yet fear our own law
Why do we have to pay for the right to stay alive
"Sorry ma'am, you don't have enough money, you're gonna have to die!!"
Why do we go hungry, when so much food is thrown out to waste
Why are the world's problems more important, than the problems we face at home
Why cannot be answered, and yet...we still insist on asking WHY????
