This is a poem I wrote when I was about 10. I hope you like it.
As I walk the streets on this solemn night, I think on the things I've not done right.
My mind sleeps alone in time. I feel a pain that should not be mine.
The darkness, like the wind, stirs up a memory. I close my eyes and let it envelop me.
I told myself not to remember you, theres nothing that I would rather do.
My pain is mine to bear alone. My fear is only mine to own....
As I walk the streets on this solemn night, I think on the things I've not done right...
