What evil is this that teaches men to fear
Walks with them
Talks with them
Draws the darkness near

How is it that men can fall with ease
Rise again
Dies again
Mislead by those who please

When do the shadows of dark ages sing
Warning sounds
Mourning sounds
Grim tidings are all they bring

Where is the gate to the place the infernal dwell
Dreaming ones
Scheming ones
With them it's lies they tell

Who is that believes the darkness they can deny
Ignore your sins
Adore your sins
You'll pay long after you die
