A poem of personal freedom found at cost.
Freedom found at cost
Values and virtues lost
This vulgar being has me bound
Shackled in the freedom that I've found

Vision blurs
I long for cool streams and peace
Being Nature's only I'd prefer
If only to be as the Air

Vices that bound me; still grip
In crisis times I'm ripped
Shattered into crystalized sand
Never to be whole again

Twice gained freedom - gone
Emotions battled Reason and won
Oppressed and ready to burst
Stained now virtue is cursed
